Shut The Front Door

Shut the Front Door is a body of work reflecting on the loss of cultural spaces in the Belfast city center. Initially, working with her collection of photographic documentation gathered over the years, Dyczkowska collaborated with Warzone, Collective, Platform Arts, and QSS, conducting interviews and gathering archives of these spaces. She created an installation at Vault Artist Studios consisting of 4 videos and 7 photographs. This project serves Dyczkowska as an archive and documentation of steadily disappearing cultural spaces in Belfast.

The exhibition was part of the Imagine Belfast Festival in 2021 and was accompanied by an online Artist Talk.
